BREAKER, BREAKER: GIANT ROBOTS ON THE HORIZON

505 Gamestreet to publish the latest addition to the beloved mech-battling Armored Core series, Armored Core: Nine Breaker on PS2 this spring

8th February 2006

Train to become the ultimate weapon! The definitive mech simulation/action series continues its assault on players' senses with the finishing touches being made on the production line to Armored Core: Nine Breaker. Parts have been tested, engines oiled and bodywork buffed and polished in preparation of the release of the latest in the long-running robot simulator.

Armored Core: Nine Breaker dazzles players with the crash of metal on metal and the flash of awesome firepower in the air in a no-nonsense robot ruckus. It's all about the battles with Armored Core: Nine Breaker, taking you straight into the action with two blistering modes of play: Hardcore Training and Arena Combat. Create your Core from an endlessly customisable array of over 400 different parts and test your creation in a series of training missions designed to push your piloting skills to the limit and prepare you for the challenge of head-to-head arena combat.

Building your 'bot shouldn't be taken lightly however, as you'll need to consider factors such as weapons, armour, speed, agility and more, and how each component added or removed affects the overall pugilistic power of your Core. The classic "design and test" gameplay loved by Armored Core fans the world over returns, with over 100 training challenges giving you the chance to put your creation to the ultimate test.

Armored Core: Nine Breaker also features split-screen multiplayer action for two players making this the definitive competitive Armored Core experience available today.

Armored Core: Nine Breaker launches on PlayStation 2 on 31st March, priced £19.99. The game is developed by From Software/Agetec and is published in the UK by 505 Gamestreet.
