Blood Ties

Hidden object game appears at US retailers.

LANGHORNE, Pa., May 21, 2009 - Casual games developer and publisher eGames, Inc. (Pink Sheets: EGAM) today announced the retail launch of popular hidden object game Blood Ties~. Following a successful run on the top casual game portals, Blood Ties, developed by Merscom and based on the cult favorite Lifetime Television series, has earned broad distribution across all major PC retailers.

"As a retail publisher, it is gratifying to launch a product with such wide distribution," said eGames Vice President, Sales and Marketing Rich Siporin. "By virtue of securing placement at our top retail partners, Blood Ties stands poised to reach a significant number of casual game customers."

In Blood Ties, players help detective Vicki Nelson and her vampire partner Henry Fitzroy track down the missing members of the Hellfire Club, searching creepy crime scenes and seedy locales on the dark side of Toronto.

"With nearly 100,000 units sold online in 2008, Blood Ties is the first of several highly-successful downloadable games we are bringing to retail this year," said eGames Product Manager Greg Zesinger. "We are committed to bringing the best titles available online to brick-and-mortar stores, and Blood Ties, followed later in the year by Mystery Legends~: Sleepy Hollow, 4 Elements, Liong: The Lost Amulets, First Class Flurry, and G.H.O.S.T. Chronicles", demonstrates our adherence to that goal."

"We are very excited to be working with eGames to bring Blood Ties to retail," said Merscom Chief Customer Officer Lloyd Melnick. "It is our best performing game ever online and we know eGames is well positioned to match that success at retail."
