BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger

To make its first UK appearance at this weekend's Midlands MCM Expo, with cosplay too.

For immediate release

Feb 2010: Zen United is proud to announce that BlazBlue will be the featured fighting game in the Electronic Dojo (in partnership with DDR:UK) gaming area at the Midlands MCM Expo, Telford International Centre, on Saturday 20th February 2010.

Be one of the first to play the PAL version on Xbox 360. Whatever your preference there will be both console formats available to play – PS3 and 360. The 360 will be up on a glorious HD 42” TV. BlazBlue looks stunning on this scale.

And it’s not hard to see why the show is such a hit with visitors and exhibitors alike– packed with attractions ranging from movie star special guests to battling robots to major videogames publishers offering sneak previews of their hottest titles, the Midlands MCM Expo is set to be a great day’s entertainment for the whole family.

There’ll be plenty of gaming action going on, plus Cosplay character masquerades. Maybe a few from the BlazBlue character roster will be on show.

Look out for the distinctive blue – naturally – exclusive BlazBlue T-shirts featuring one of Haku-men’s favourite moves, the foot stomping 6B. You might even get the chance to win one. There will be demos by some of the top gamers, even an appearance from Gamerbase Manchester is planned. And they’ll also be on hand to show you some of the knock out combos those experts love to use.

Play BlazBlue for yourself and get familiar with the gameplay in anticipation of the UK release on 19th March this year. Remember to reserve your copy of the game from your favourite retailer. If you do it now you’ll get the special Limited Edition at the same price as the standard game. The Limited Edition includes the game, a bonus DVD with around 2 hours of fighting tutorial guides and deep character specific strategies. Plus a gorgeous 96 page full colour book with original art and illustrations from the design team at Arc System Works. All this in a beautiful collectors BlazBlue emblem design
