BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger

Artwork, concepts and production sketches to go on display this week during the Bath Japanese Festival.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Bristol, UK (7th May 2010) Zen United are pleased to announce that, as sponsors of this year’s Bath Japanese Festival 2010, never before seen artwork, concepts and production sketches from Arc System Works’ critically acclaimed 2D fighter, BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger will be on display for the first time.

‘This is a very exciting opportunity for the public to appreciate the huge effort that goes into the production of modern videogames’ says Tomo Ono, CEO of Zen United. ‘There’s some exceptional talent at Arc System Works’ studio and we’re extremely proud to be able to exhibit some of their work at this show.’

Visitors will be able to get a unique insight into the phenomenal amount of work that goes into creating a game as beautiful and as detailed as BlazBlue and will gain access to artwork that, outside Arc System Works’ Japanese studios, has never been made publicly available. To compliment the exhibition Zen United will also be supplying artwork for a traditional Japanese book binding course that will be running during the festival.

The BlazBlue Calamity Trigger Exhibition will be open on Wednesday May the 12th from 7pm and 10.00pm at the Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution (BRSLI), 16-18 Queen Square, Bath, UK. There is an entrance fee of £4 (£2 for students).
