Blade Interactive receives new funding

Blade Interactive announced that it has received funding from Total Asset Limited.

The multi-million dollar deal will allow Blade Interactive to realise its publishing ambitions.

"Let no one in the videogames market underestimate what Blade is doing at the moment," said Blade's Deborah Jones. "We have unparalleled technology with Infinite Worlds and HydroEngine. We are IP owners and IP developers and now also publishers."

Total Asset Limited's George Alexander added: "Total Asset Limited has for some time been actively seeking robust IP holders in the videogames business who seek to extend the range of their activities."

Blade recently entered into an agreement with Koch Media to distribute World Snooker Championship worldwide.
