Blade Interactive continues to expand its business with the announcement that it now intends to publish its own titles, beginning with the next iteration of the two million selling World Snooker Championship.

Now going by the name of WSC Real — Season 2008, Blade will publish various versions of the snooker hit and is currently in talks with a number of distributors.

"Blade is a company that is changing fast and this is a crucial step in our expansion plans," said Deborah Jones, co-owner of Blade Interactive.

"We are very excited at the prospect of publishing ourselves. As individuals we are no strangers to publishing and this is a natural step for us."

As well as developing games for PC and console, Blade has its own middleware business and dedicated mobile phone development team.
