Sunny, sandy sequel on the way this summer.

WOKING, UK - April 1, 2010 – THQ Inc. (NASDAQ: THQI) today announced that Big Beach Sports™ 2™, the follow-up to the popular 2008 summer hit title, Big Beach Sports™, is currently in development exclusively for Wii™ and is scheduled for release this summer.

Big Beach Sports 2™ returns with five entirely new entertaining and energetic outdoor game offerings, including more traditional sports such as rugby, cricket, disk golf and football. Players are also invited to participate in competitions featuring surfing, canoe, water rocket and dune buggy races in either single player mode or through multiplayer challenges, going head to head with up to four players. Additionally, players can use the Wii Balance Board™ to ride the waves for a full body surfing experience.

Developed by Jet Black Games, its summer time on the island of Moa Loa and athletes from around the world are converging on the remote volcanic island to compete in this year’s annual Coconut Cup Championship.
