German publisher repositions itself as a distributor.

bhv is re-positioning itself as a specialized distribution partner for the German-speaking territories. The international business of bhv Software GmbH will be taken over by sister company Globell B.V..
Effective May 1st 2009, the company has been readjusted from a full-service publisher to a distributor. The business in German-speaking territories has been transferred by bhv Software GmbH to bhv Distribution GmbH. By expanding the distribution portolio to game peripherals and the change to an SAP system for logistics and inventory management, the distribution focus has been continuously strengthened in the last years.
Dieter Dedeke, who has been with the company in an executive position since 1996, will serve as Managing Director of bhv Distribution GmbH.
