Bethesda opens German, French offices

New marketing and sales teams to focus on specific regions

Fallout publisher Bethesda Softworks has opened official offices in Frankfurt, Germany, and Paris, France.

Both will be charged with marketing and sales in the respective territories, with ex-Sierra VP of Europe Frank Matzke taking the managing director role in Germany, and Julie Chalmette, previously with Vivendi, heading up French operations.

"The opening of offices in Frankfurt and Paris is a very exciting moment for Bethesda Softworks, offered Sean Brennan, managing director of Bethesda in Europe.

"We have an incredible roster of upcoming AAA games including Fallout: New Vegas, Hunted: The Demon’s Forge, Brink and RAGE. Frank and Julie’s extensive knowledge of their territories will help us to maximise and deliver upon these titles’ potential."
