Bakugan Battle Brawlers

DS and Wii playable versions to be had at Comic-Con.

SANTA MONICA, CA - July 16, 2009 - Activision Publishing, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI), and Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana Enterprises announced today that the world premiere of Bakugan Battle Brawlers™ will be at San Diego Comic-Con. Attendees of the famed convention can get their hands on Bakugan Battle Brawlers on Wii™ and Nintendo DS™ for the first time ever when Comic-Con opens its doors to the public on July 23. Bakugan Battle Brawlers will be located in the Spin Master/Bakugan Booth SDCC #3712.

Bakugan™ is based on the story of Dan and his friends whose lives were forever changed when mysterious cards fell from the sky. Creating a game from the cards where powerful creatures known as Bakugan battle, it isn’t long before they discover that their hobby is much more than just a simple pastime. Utilizing special game cards Bakugan battle masters roll spheres onto the cards, which activate and transform into Bakugan “battle brawling” action figures. The toy line, developed by Spin Master Ltd., has won three “Toy of the Year” awards from the Toy Industry Association. Bakugan is also an animated cartoon series airing on Cartoon Network in the United States, TELETOON in Canada and many international broadcasters.

Bakugan Battle Brawlers will be released for Wii™, Nintendo DS™, Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, and PLAYSTATION®3 and PlayStation®2 computer entertainment systems on October 20, 2009.
