Australia, 11/12/2009 – A group of Australian iPhone developers have joined together to create the nation’s largest collective promotion for Christmas this year. Aussie App Sale ( www.aussieappsale.com) has launched its first ever Christmas event featuring exclusively Australian-made iPhone and iPod Touch apps, many which have dropped their prices for the event.
The website features a host of apps ranging from sports simulators, indie games and tarot reading, as well as the widely featured DrinkTracker app. “I’m impressed with the quality local developers are pushing out to this global market,” said website cofounder Anthony Sweet. “It deserves to be recognised, and I hope we attract more attention to our Aussie developers.”
“And this is just the start of our Christmas promotion. We’ve got more apps coming soon that we’ll be updating to the site throughout the holiday season, including JumboSquid’s highly anticipated Zogma.”
