Ascaron have today announced that they have acquired the exclusive UK & Ireland Co Publishing Rights for an exciting new range of products from the Czech Publisher Cenega Publishing. Ascaron have been working closely with Cenega Publishing over the past few months to close the deal which will see 4 new products added to the range of Ascaron titles for 2005.

The range of products is set to include the sequel to the highly successful UFO: Aftermath, along with a third person tactical action game and an action RPG. The signing of these titles will allow Ascaron to move into the console market for the first time.

Ascaron will be representing Cenega Publishing for Sales and Marketing in the UK, distribution will remain with Pinnacle.

Roger Swindells, UK Managing Director for Ascaron said: 'This is a great signing for us. We are very pleased to be working with Cenega and this signing is going to be the first of many to expand and develop our portfolio over the next year.'

Cenega Publishing CEO, Slavomir Pavlicek added: 'We are very excited to be working with Ascaron, who have over the last year continued to strengthen their position in distribution and publishing. We strongly believe that our relationship will help us to reach the largest audience possible for our future releases. We look forward to a long-term partnership.'
