Artix at DragonCon

Cosplay fun with DragonFable, MechQuest, AdventureQuest, WarpForce and AdventureQuest Worlds.

LAND O’LAKES, FLORIDA – SEPTEMBER 11, 2009 -- Players of Artix Entertainment’s games – DragonFable, MechQuest, AdventureQuest, WarpForce, and AdventureQuest Worlds – made a splash at DragonCon in Atlanta when they appeared in wild costumes depicting their favorite Artix game characters.

Players from all over the world dressed up as characters from Artix Entertainment’s games DragonFable, MechQuest, WarpForce, AdventureQuest, and AdventureQuest Worlds.

Over 90 million Artix players worldwide, including the 10 million players of AdventureQuest Worlds, will share in the DragonCon experience vicariously when Artix posts a live-action mini-game next week.

“There were so many of our gamers wandering around in outrageous costumes, we decided to shoot a video of all of them in one location, fighting with each other,” laughed Adam Bohn, founder and CEO of Artix Entertainment. “The onlookers went nuts when they witnessed an all-out pseudo-brawl in the convention center – it was great fun for all of us.”

Fortunately, no injuries or arrests were reported, and the brawl concluded with a prolonged round of applause from the gathered crowd.

The final editing will be completed next week and gamers can see the mayhem in a new mini-game that will be posted at www.artixentertainment.com.
