Trilogy launches new service for indie retailers

Logistics and distribution company Trilogy has established a new division that will provide specialist services to independent retailers across the UK.

Logistics and distribution company Trilogy has established a new division that will provide specialist services to independent retailers across the UK.

Titled TRILOGYi, the division will "provide those retailers with a level of service currently only enjoyed by national accounts", according to the new online portal.

Users can visit the site to download a range of materials designed to offer information about games, and help retailers to better plan and manage stock orders.

The site will also feature downloadable sales and marketing materials, plus a means for retailers to communicate and exchange surplus stock.

"Independent retailers make a massive contribution to the national sales of video games but that contribution has to a large extent been ignored in favour of the primary accounts," said Trilogy Logistics managing director Matthew Allen.

"TRILOGYi will really shake up this sector and bring fresh ideas and better management to both sides of the business. We are in discussions with a number of well-known games companies who recognise the problem that we are solving."
