Sony shows off PS3 games in 3D

MotorStorm, Wipeout HD and Gran Turismo 5 demoed at CES

Sony has shown off a number of PlayStation 3 titles running in 3D at consumer technology trade show CES.

However, representatives for the company would not confirm any details, insisting the demos were only an indication of the possibilities of 3D gaming.

"Don't get caught up with specs," said the company to Ars Technica.

"We're not going to talk about specifications. This is just a look at what 3D could look like if Sony decided to move in this direction."

MotorStorm, Wipeout HD and Gran Turismo 5 Prologue were all on display. During Sony's CES keynote, a still of Gran Turismo 5 in 3D was also shown, although again no specific 3D strategy was forthcoming.
