Sega and Gas Powered Games have revealed Space Siege, an original RPG for the PC, as the result of their previously announced collaboration.

Developed by Gas Powered Games, Space Siege is a science-fiction themed action RPG which also features a separate co-op multiplayer mode for up to four players.

"Chris Taylor and his talented team at Gas Powered Games are recognised as leading innovators in the industry," said Scott A. Steinberg, vice president of marketing at Sega of America.

"Space Siege promises to be a compelling and innovative successor to the very popular Dungeon Siege franchise."

The game is currently scheduled to ship in North America and Europe in Q1 2008.
