Rockstar offers game appearance prize for charity

Winner of Movember moustache prize to feature as character in Red Dead Redemption

Rockstar Games has announced that it will offer one gamer the chance to become a character in its forthcoming title Red Dead Redemption in a bid to raise awareness of men's health charity Movember.

Gamers are being challenged to grow a moustache during November and send in a picture by the end of the month to Rockstar, who will then judge the entries and award the prize.

Rockstar staff will also be joining in the event, and the event's sign-up page is now open. Winners will be notified directly by Rockstar after November, with Red Dead Redemption set for release next year.
