PSN to offer Universal movies and TV

Current and back catalogue titles to be offered on Sony's online service

Sony has announced that the PlayStation Network will now offer movies and television programs from NBC Universal, effective immediately.

New episodes of TV shows, such as The Office, Heroes and Battlestar Galactica, will be available in the US on the PlayStation Network in both HD and SD the day after they are aired on TV.

Universal Pictures will also provide its line-up of new releases and back catalogue titles.
