Microsoft dates Halo: Reach, XBL Game Room

Company shows off new titles for 2010 at X10 event in San Francisco

Microsoft has revealed a number of release dates for 2010 products and services at its consumer showcase X10 in San Francisco.

The recently revealed Xbox Live Arcade Game Room - a social space for users to play retro arcade games - will go live in March, alongside the Perfect Dark remake and new title Scrap Metal from N+ developer Slick Entertainment.

The beta for the latest Halo title, Halo: Reach, will kick off on May 3rd, with guaranteed entry for Halo 3: ODST owners, ahead of the release this autumn.

During the event Lionhead's Peter Molyneux demoed Fable III and revealed the game would be out for Christmas, Capcom dated the release of Dead Rising 2 as September 3, and Remedy's long-awaited Alan Wake title is inked in for May 21 in Europe, according to our sister site Eurogamer.net.
