Marvelous catches Rising Star with new UK office

Japanese publisher Marvelous Entertainment has announced plans to open a UK office under the name Rising Star Games, which will publish Marvelous titles across the various PAL territories.

The new office, which is set to open its doors next month, is a joint venture with Swedish distributor Bergsala AB, which will provide much of the financial support for the launch of the operation.

Details of the titles which Rising Star will bring to Europe have not been revealed, but Marvelous is best known for the King of Fighters EX title on the Game Boy Advance and for the Harvest Moon titles, which came under its auspices when it acquired Victor Interactive Software earlier this year.
