The new, slightly quicker to type name for Mad Finger Games, creators of Samurai: Way of the Warrior.

Czech Republic based Mad Finger Games, creators of the multiple award-winning Samurai: Way of the Warrior for iPhone and iPod touch, today announces that it is now MADFINGER Games. Having secured major financing from private sources, the new company and its seasoned, professional game designers have ambitious plans for a series of mass-market games for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. Their first release will be Samurai: Way of the Warrior HD, an updated version of the game exclusively for iPad.

Having secured major financing from private sources, the new company and its seasoned, professional game developers have ambitious plans for a series of mass-market games for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. Their first release will be Samurai: Way of the Warrior HD, an updated version of the game exclusively for iPad.

The original Mad Finger Games was founded in 2009 by game industry veterans Marek Rabas, Pavel Cizek, Michal Babjar, and Tomas Slapota. The highly experienced team has helped create games like Mafia, Mafia 2, Hidden and Dangerous 2, Vietcong 2 and others for PC, XBOX, PS2, PS3, and XBOX360.

Highlights:

Mad Finger Games was immediately recognized as a serious industry competitor with the release of Samurai: Way of the Warrior for iPhone and iPod touch. The game employs advanced animation, graphics, and interface techniques, and is among the bloodiest games in the App Store. Samurai received a host of accolades, including: selected by Apple as one of the Best Games of 2009; Best App Ever Awards 2009 - Best Game Graphics Honorable Mention Award from 148Apps; and number 16 in the Top 100 iPhone Games of All Time from AppAdvice. Their game BloodyXmas was promoted by Apple in Best Santa Games 2009.

"Creating console quality games for the iPhone and iPad is incredibly challenging," stated company CEO Marek Rabas. "With the procurement of new financing and our corporate restructuring, we now have the resources necessary to create bold, highly profitable new games."
