GC Online opens business registration

Leipzig event in July reveals trade options, including matchmaking and exhibition centre

Leipziger Messe has announced that business registration for this year's Games Convention Online has now opened, and detailed the options available for trade visitors.

From July 8-10 the event will host a business area only accessible to trade visitors, which will include an international exhibition and a business matchmaking system.

In addition trade visitors will be able to attend a number of business-focused sessions on topics including social games, mobile games and international markets, with the Hans Bredow Insititute also conducting a series of talks on the design, perception and use of social games.

"The system is particularly helpful in paving the way for international contacts," said Silvana Kuerschner, strategy director for Games Convention Global. "The platform can be used to set up new contacts and supports optimum coordination of appointments during the trade show."

Trade tickets cost €150 for the full four days (including the public days from July 9-11) while single-day tickets cost €60. Student prices are €60 for all four days, or €25 for a single day.

More details on the event are available on our Games Convention Online page - if you're planning to attend, don't forget to say so on your event calendar, so that others may contact you and arrange meetings.
