GamesRadar and Cheat Planet readership tops 3.25 million

The first ever ABCE certificate has been released for Future Publishing websites GamesRadar and Cheat Planet.

During the month of May, the sites attracted a total of 3,257,408 unique visitors. Combined page impressions stood at 42,861,918.

Cheat Planet was founded in 1997 and acquired by Future in June 2005. The company's website states that Cheat Planet had 6.4 million unique visitors per month as of December 2005, according to comScore Media Metrix data. That figure was said to include 3.2 million unique visitors in the US.

In a statement digital commercial director Daniel Ward-Lee said, "The GamesRadar ABCE is an excellent result for our games portfolio, and testament to the hard work of the teams involved.

"With millions of audited unique users flocking to our websites, Future is building a solid online base to grow and develop. We are developing our media strategy, allowing us to provide reach and relevance to our clients media campaigns, whilst strengthening our games media position online."

The publication of the GamesRadar and Cheat Planet results follows theABCE certification of Future's CVG Network sites, which include magazine tie-in sites along with computerandvideogames.com. The sites received more than 1.56 million unique visitors during May.
