GamesIndustry.biz enhances Nordic Game link

Malmo conference visitors to be the first to benefit from Network's time-management tool

The Nordic Game conference, taking place in Malmo, Sweden next month will be the first event to partner with the new time-management tool under development at GamesIndustry.biz.

The enhanced event calendar will enable visitors to the conference to easily choose which sessions they'd like to attend, and set out time available for meetings, parties or general networking - with full messaging capability for other Network members.

Additionally, while a Network member's schedule plans will be available online, the tool will enable exporting to most other calendar formats, as well as hard copy printing, in order to cut down on the hassle of hectic conference schedules.

"I'm really pleased that we're going to be able to debut the tool at Nordic Game this year, following the launch of the GamesIndustry.biz Network itself at last year's conference," said Phil Elliott, managing editor of GamesIndustry.biz.

"The need for a user-friendly and accessible time-management tool for industry events is undeniable, and we hope that our Network members will find this free tool helpful in enabling them to get the most out of this year's Nordic Game."

Anybody that works in the videogames business can join the GamesIndustry.biz Network for free, and show other Network members that they're attending the event by selecting it on their profile's Events page.

Then, when the tool is released in the next couple of weeks, users will be able to start scheduling in plans, and arranging meetings with other Network members.

The Nordic Game conference, which is taking place on May 19-20, is currently offering registration discounts as part of its Early Bird offer - although that offer is set to close at the end of tomorrow.
