BioWare/Pandemic Studios has announced the appointment of industry veteran and former EA exec Jillian Goldberg, who will serve in the role of executive vice president of marketing.

During her time at EA, Goldberg was responsible for the publisher's global marketing portfolio, including acclaimed and commercially successful titles such as Tiger Woods PGA Tour, Harry Potter, The Godfather and Lord of the Rings.

In her new role with BioWare/Pandemic, she will manage the marketing activities for the global release of highly anticipated Xbox 360 RPG, Mass Effect, in addition to Pandemic's Mercenaries 2 and all future titles from the super studio.

"We couldn't be more thrilled to have Jillian join the team," stated Greg Richardson, commercial operations VP for VG Holdings, which oversees BioWare/Pandemic.

"Jillian is among the very best product marketing executives in this industry with a track record of success in working closely with development teams in creating and launching hit franchises," Richardson added.
