Professor Fizzwizzle, Incredibots developer joins Seattle-based portal

Big Fish Games has announced that it has acquired Vancouver-based Grubby Games, developer of the My Tribe, Professor Fizzwizzle franchise, and the upcoming Incredibots.

Grubby Games has had a longstanding partnership with Big Fish, which has distributed the developer's entire catalogue through its casual games portal.

"Big Fish Games has a remarkable culture and a unique, multi-platform development approach that aligns with our vision for creating a differentiated content," said Grubby Games CEO Ryan Clark in a statement issues to the press.

Big Fish VP Patrick Wylie added, "We have had the pleasure of working with Ryan and his team during the last four years and we are delighted to have them as part of our future."

According to a report by TechFlash, three of Grubby's employees will be joining Big Fish's Vancouver office, which opened last year following a USD 83.3 million round of venture capital funding.
