Swap those tired old games for Amazon credit.

Luxembourg – 10th December 2010: Amazon.co.uk announces the launch of its Video Games Trade-In Store ( www.amazon.co.uk/tradein) where customers can exchange unwanted video games and accessories in return for credit to their Amazon.co.uk account.

“Trading-in with Amazon.co.uk is quick and easy, providing customers with a great way to exchange their old games and save money on future purchases,” said Chris Poad, director of video games at Amazon.co.uk Ltd. “It’s a hassle-free experience with Amazon paying for postage and putting a Gift Card straight into the customer’s account once the item is received.”

There are three simple steps to trading-in at Amazon.co.uk:

·         Select Items – Search for eligible items to trade-in and find out how much you’ll receive for each item

·         Send Items Free of Charge– Print a delivery label and packing slip, package your items and post them at no cost

·         Get a Gift Card – An Amazon.co.uk Gift Card will be deposited into your account upon receipt of games which are accepted

Trade-in prices are guaranteed provided that they are postmarked within seven days of submission and items are received in an acceptable condition.
