Atomhawk to open new art studio

New UK-based location to provide art services for clients in game development

Art and design studio Atomhawk announced today that it will open a new technical art studio.

The UK-based office will open in 2022 and the company said that "it will focus on art related challenges faced by clients within game engines, including Unreal, Unity and proprietary systems."

The studio will join Atomhawk's current offices based in Gateshead, UK and Vancouver, Canada.

The new location will be led by studio director Nader Alikhani who will be joined by UI/UX director Paolo Parrucci and technical art director Liam Fleming.

"The role of Technical Artist is an increasingly important one, bridging the gap between traditional artist and programmer" said Nader.

"Our new technical art studio expands the capability of Atomhawk's existing services and allows clients to tap into a more comprehensive, end-to-end solution that covers not only conceptual design but also implementation in-engine."
