Aurora Punks adds WhyKev

Hoplegs developer Kevin Andersson joins Swedish collective of indie studios

Aurora Punks has added a sixth member to its ranks, today announcing that WhyKev has joined its "DIY collective."

WhyKev is the studio name for Swedish solo developer Kevin Andersson, who last month released his physics-based platformer Hoplegs into Early Access on Steam.

"If there's one thing that I keep saying over and over every third month or so in conversations it is 'I just want to make video games,'" Andersson said.

"I am excited for this opportunity to focus on just that and see how far we can go together!"

Founded by former Fatshark producer Robert Bäckström, Aurora Punks pools resources together (including funding) and encourages collaboration between its members while promising autonomy for each entity within the collective.

WhyKev is the second addition to Aurora Punks this month, following the addition of fellow Swedish developer Wimasima two weeks ago.
