Dead Cells sells over 3.5m copies

That's 500,000 copies sold in the last five months, two years after game's initial launch

Motion Twin's roguelike Dead Cells has now sold over 3.5 million copies, according to a press release shared by the studio.

The game previously reached the three million milestone in July this year, meaning 500,000 copies of the two-year-old game have been sold in just the last five months.

This news comes alongside an announcement of the game's second paid DLC, Fatal Falls, which is currently planned to release in Q1 of 2021.

The game is currently being updated and maintained by Evil Empire, a company that spun off within Motion Twin in 2019 specifically to work on Dead Cells while deviating somewhat from Motion Twin's co-op structure, while Motion Twin itself moves onto new projects.
