Xbox Series X will sell for $499

Console launches November 10 with pre-orders starting September 22; All Access subscription price is $35 monthly for two years

Microsoft today unveiled the launch details for its Xbox Series X, announcing that its high-end next-gen console will debut November 10 with a suggested retail price of $499.

That follows up yesterday's news that the all-digital Series S would launch November 10 at a $299 price point.

For those who would prefer a lower upfront investment in the console, Microsoft also detailed the cost of its All Access subscription plan, which will include a Series X console and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate access for $35 a month with a two-year commitment (subject to credit line approval).

In addition, Microsoft announced today that Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Game Pass for PC will include access to Electronic Arts' subscription service EA Play starting this holiday.
