Indie Megabooth goes on hiatus due to COVID-19

Team to stay on for remainder of May to run Steam sale

The Indie Megabooth has announced it will be sunsetting its operations for the duration of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

In an open letter, founder Kelly Wallick says that the organization will continue operating through May to support a special Steam sale beginning today showcasing past Indie Megabooth titles, with developers able to share revenue with the Megabooth on a "pay what you want" scheme.

Proceeds will be used to fulfill Indie Megabooth's financial obligations and support its transition.

"I've poured my heart and soul into building this and am constantly humbled and honored by our community and the games industry which has been so welcoming and supportive," Wallick wrote.

"It's been an incredible journey, and I can't believe that any of this was even possible in the first place. Let alone for nine years!"
