UKIE prepares no-deal Brexit advice

Trade body to release free written, audio, and visual content as Britain prepares to leave EU

With just two weeks until the UK's scheduled departure from the European Union, industry trade body UKIE has revealed content plans to help game companies prepare for a no-deal Brexit.

Although prime minister Boris Johnson is currently required by law to seek an extension beyond October 31 if he fails to reach a deal with the EU, there are still people in both camps of the debate who believe he could find a way around this.

Over the next two weeks, UKIE will be releasing a video series with legal experts on issues like data, international talent, EU funding, and IP rights.

There will also be a podcast with legal experts answering industry questions specifically related to business challenges.

Finally, there will an ebook signposting businesses to important information about preparing for a no-deal Brexit. All of the content will be free of charge, with no UKIE membership required.
