Reboot Develop Red confirms The Coalition, Panache Digital and Myst creator for its debut event

Reboot Develop Red will be held in Banff, Canada, other speakers include Suda51, Swery, Improbable and Ustwo

Reboot Develop Red has confirmed its first wave of speakers, which includes The Coalition, Panache Digital, Improbable and the creators of the classic adventure games Myst and Riven.

This is the first edition of Reboot Develop's Canadian conference, which was announced last year at Reboot Develop Blue in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Taking place in Banff, Reboot Develop Red will feature a mix of speakers from all parts of the games industry -- covering AAA and indie, Asian markets and those in the west.

The first wave of speakers includes: Carla Rylance, external development manager at Gears 5 studio The Coalition; Panache Digital co-founder Patrice Désilets, who is gearing up to launch Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey; and Aaryn Flynn, general manager for North America at Improbable.

Most intriguing of all, though, are two speakers involved with the legendary studio Cyan Inc., which created the iconic adventure games Myst and Riven; Rand Miller co-founded Cyan around 30 years ago, while Hannah Gamiel is development director at the studio today.

Other notable speakers include Devolver Digital's Mike Wilson, Ustwo Games' Dan Gray, Grasshopper Manufacture's Suda 51, and White Owls' Hidetaka "Swery" Suehiro.
