Gayming Magazine to launch in June

New online gaming magazine to present LGBTQ+-focused news, reviews, features

LGBTQ+-focused online gaming publication Gayming Magazine is preparing to launch to the public on June 1 after it was first introduced in April at the London Games Festival.

Gayming Magazine's goal is to be the "conduit between the [LGBTQ+] community and the industry," and will include news, reviews, features, and other content types. Its contributors and writers will consist of "a diverse roster...from across the LGBTQ+ spectrum."

Examples of planned content for the publication include spotlights on communities of LGBTQ+ gamers, as well as interviews and other features on LGBTQ+ game companies, developers, and other industry figures.

"I'm so excited for everyone to see Gayming Magazine in June," said the founder of Gayming Magazine, Robin Gray. "For too long, the LGBTQ+ community has sat on the fringe of the video games community, carving out their own niche. We want to celebrate that niche while also working with the community and with the industry to bring the two halves closer together, ensuring LGBTQ+ people feel welcome, included and represented within the gaming world they adore so much."
