GamesAid Golf and Spa Day returns July 11th

Once again to The Grove

The 12th Annual Entertainment Industry Charity Golf & Spa Day will take place on Thursday, July 11th, 2019 at The Grove in Watford.

The Golf and Spa Day supports GamesAid, which provides money to disadvantaged young people in the UK. The charities it supports include Accuro, Access Sport Trust, Autistica, The Clock Tower Sanctuary, Lifelites, Everyone Can, My AFK, Solving Kids' Cancer and Special Effect. Golfers can enjoy 18 holes of golf, food, drink, raise awareness and funds for Gamesaid and win trophies. Rooms are also available but are limited. The event is once again organised by EA's Richard Stickler.

The Grove is a famous golfing venue that was the venue for the British Masters in 2016. Previous attendees and supporters of the event include PlayStation, Nintendo, Xbox, Exertis, EA, Ubisoft, Activision, Sega and many more from the world of video games retail, publishing, development and merchandise, as well as businesses operating in sister entertainment and technology industries.

The event has so far raised well over half a million pounds for GamesAid during its previous 11 events. The 2018 event raised more than £30,000 alone.
