EGX 2018 industry attendees exceed 2,500

It is now the UK's biggest single games industry event

Over 2,500 industry attendees descended upon EGX 2018, making it the UK's biggest trade show.

Over 300 people attended the Gamesindustry.biz Investment Summit, which took place on the Thursday at EGX, and saw 350 meetings take place between investors (including Humble Bundle, EA, Sony, Xbox, Take-Two, BBC, Sega, Nintendo, Amazon and more) and independent developers.

An additional 100 meetings took place the next day at the Gamesindustry.biz Zone, just off the show floor.

The Industry Party at the Jam House on Thursday night was also a complete sell-out.

Other industry events that took place during the show included UKIE's AGM, the GamesAid Cheque Giving ceremony, the Gamesindustry.biz Career Fair, plus multiple industry-friendly talks that took place on the Rezzed Sessions Stage.

EGX is run by Gamesindustry.biz's parent company Gamer Network, and the industry events are supported by the Gamesindustry.biz team.
