UK Charts: F1 2018, Shenmue depose Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

Activision Blizzard's nostalgic platformer finally drops to No.3 after eight weeks in the top spot

After eight weeks in a row on the top of the UK charts, Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy has finally dropped to the No.3 spot due to the releases of both F1 2018 and Shenmue I and II.

The two new releases debuted in the No.1 and No.2 spots on the all-formats chart, respectively, with Grand Theft Auto V and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe dipping slightly again down to No.4 and No.5.

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth, which last week took the No.3 spot on that chart, is now nowhere to be found on either all-formats or the individual platform charts (where it reigned at No. 1 last week). It is, however, still No.1 on the PC platform chart.

Super Mario Odyssey and Breath of the Wild both dipped below the top 10 as well, while FIFA 18 and The Crew 2 enjoyed a return at No.9 and No.10.

This chart tracks physical game sales. Digital is not included.

Here is the UKIE/GFK top ten for the week ending August 25th, 2018:
