Pokémon Quest downloads pass 7.5 million

Free-to-play mobile and Switch game gets off to a strong start

Pokémon Quest has been downloaded more than 7.5 million times, reports The Pokémon Company.

Pokémon Quest is a free-to-play RPG aimed at younger fans for Nintendo Switch and smartphones. It launched on Nintendo Switch on May 30th and was downloaded one million times in under two days. It was released on iOS and Android on June 27th.

It was announced as part of a string of new Pokémon video game products unveiled in May, which included Pokémon Let's Go Eevee and Let's Go Pikachu, plus a new unnamed Pokémon title for 2019 aimed at core fans.

Unlike other smartphone Pokémon titles, Pokémon Quest has been developed by franchise creators Game Freak.
