One Thumb Mobile closes Glasgow studio

18 jobs lost after Celtic Heroes developer shutters

Scottish developer One Thumb Mobile is reportedly closing its Glasgow studio, leading to the loss of 18 jobs.

The news was revealed today by former company employees on the Scottishgames Facebook group.

Founded in 2006, One Thumb Mobile developed MMO titles for mobile; the studio's only published project is Celtic Heroes, released in 2011 for iOS and Android.

According to Sensor Tower, Celtic Heroes generated $80,000 on iOS and $60,000 on Android in April. The game appears to still be live, and there is no indication as to when serves will be shutdown.
