Twitch Prime kicks off monthly free games bundle with Superhot, Shadow Tactics
Members will receive permanent additions to their collections as long as their subscription lasts
Twitch has significantly expanded the benefits of its Prime membership with the announcements for free monthly game bundles.
In addition to the ad-free viewing and in-game goodies viewers already receive, the streaming platform will now be distributing full games for free. Titles will encompass a mix of established hits and new titles from the firm's Indie Amplifier program.
The offer appears similar to the monthly free game collections from Xbox and PlayStation, but with one crucial difference - each title will be permanently available to Prime subscribers, rather than disappearing when the month ends.
The first bundle goes live tomorrow and includes Superhot, Shadow Tactics, Tales from Candlekeep, Oxenfree, and Mr Shifty.
It will be followed by a fresh bundle on April 1st, which will include Tales from the Borderlands, SteamWorld Dig 2, Kingsway, Tokyo 42 and Dubwars.
Twitch has promised that the other titles currently in the Indie Amplifier program will also be made available over the next few months.
