Network N acquires Slitherine's media websites

Network N has acquired WarGamer.com, StrategyGamer.com, and PocketTactics.com for an undisclosed sum.

The sites were previously owned by strategey video games publisher Slitherine Group.

All three were previously operated by editor-in-chief Joe Robinson, who will remain with the website under the new ownership.

"Joe has done a great job building a loyal audience, with really strong homepage traffic and over 40,000 forum members," said Network N CEO James Binns. "The team will now work to build search and social. Network N will be able to cover more strategy and war games than ever before and unlock some mobile business too - we're particularly stoked about the rise of digital board games."

It makes sense that in an ever-evolving market, the editorial side of our business is owned and managed by professionals. Joe Robinson has done a stunning job working on the sites so far and he will do even better now that he has free granola and nice coffee".

Network N is the media company that operates PCGamesN.
