The Reboot Develop conference has added Bossa Studios co-founder Imre Jele, Unity Technologies' VR and AR chief Tony Parisi, and Global Game Jam creator Susan Gold to its speaker line-up for 2018.
Jele will speak at the Croatian conference after arguably the most eventful year in Bossa's history. In september last year it raised $10 million in funding, and swiftly followed that up by hiring Chet Faliszek, who was one of the key writers on Valve's most beloved IPs.
In a subsequent interview with GamesIndustry.biz, Faliszek offered an oblique but fascinating glimpse at a project that appears to be a departure for the UK studio. Jele may offer further insight in his talk at Reboot Develop.
Other key names added to line-up include Tony Parisi, who is leading Unity Technologies in its role as one of the most important players in the emerging markets for VR and AR, and Susan Gold, creator of the Global Game Jam, an event that brings together 40,000 developers each year. Gold will discuss GGJ Next, a new initiative aimed at aspiring developers between the ages of 12 and 17.
The games industry in Croatia will be represented by multiple representatives from its most prominent studio, Croteam, including CCO Davor Hunski. One of the British industry's biggest console and PC studios, Creative Assembly, will also be represented, by its development manager Iain Angus.
