Improbable sponsors GamesIndustry.quiz

Free drink all night on behalf of Improbable with food also provided, as teams engage in battle of wits on March 31st near EGX Rezzed

London-based tech firm Improbable is backing our first ever GamesIndustry.quiz, fuelling this industry pub quiz with the requisite amount of alcohol needed for unlocking the most obscure trivia from the darkened corners of your mind.

In case you hadn't heard, we're hosting a brand new pub quiz for all members of the games industry: developers, publishers, games journalists and more. It will run on the evening of Friday, March 31st at The Captain Kidd pub, just down the road from EGX Rezzed 2017 at London's Tobacco Dock.

The quiz is open to all members of the games industry. Tickets cost £25 per head, with openings for teams of up to five people. That price includes drink, food and the chance to prove that you are undeniably smarter than your peers and rivals.

Every member of the winning team will be given a free ticket to EGX 2017 this September, plus a special London Games Festival pass granting them entry to the AI Summit, Mixed Reality Summit and Dear Esther Live, an orchestral concert featuring music from The Chinese Room's acclaimed title.

To book your place, contact Charlotte.Nangle@gamer-network.net.

Improbable is best known for its forthcoming SpatialOS tech, which enables developers to create large-scale, persistent game worlds in which the actions of thousands of players will have permanent consequences.

The GamesIndustry.quiz is just one of the many activities we have running around EGX Rezzed. We'll also have the improved GamesIndustry.biz Careers Fair, for which you can find the full schedule here, and there are 50 studios signed up for our inaugural Meet The Indies networking and pitching event.

Plus, the first ever GamesIndustry.biz magazine will be available on the show floor, in which you'll find the results of our recent careers survey and the full list of the GI 100: UK's Most Influential. Many of the figureheads listed will also be attending our GI 100 Party on Thursday, March 30th.
