Bad Piggies lead designer joins Two Men and a Dog
Markus Tuppurainen joins Zombie Catchers studio as executive producer
Finnish mobile studio Two Men and a Dog has announced the hire of Markus Tuppurainen.
Tuppurainen is perhaps best known as the lead designer and artist on Angry Birds spin-off Bad Piggies. In addition to his time at Rovio, he has also worked at Digital Chocolate and more recently Everywear Games, where he worked on Apple Watch RPG Runeblade.
He joins Two Man and a Dog as executive producer and will be helping to grow the studio's Zombie Catchers IP. The mobile title has been downloaded more than 20m times, and the team plans to build on this by expanding on its world and characters.
Tuppurainen will lead a second development team, which will allow Two Men and a Dog to work on two projects simultaneously. One will be a direct sequel to Zombie Catchers, while another will explore the game's antics from the zombies' point of view.
