Ubisoft acquires Ivory Tower studio

The Crew team ready to "benefit from Ubisoft's infrastructure, support, tools, technology and vision"

French studio Ivory Tower, which developed The Crew, is the latest developer to join the Ubisoft family. The studio will continue work on The Crew and the expansion The Crew Wild Run.

"We've always enjoyed a very positive relationship with Ubisoft. Working together on The Crew, and celebrating its success, made us both understand that we have huge potential in continuing to work together in the future," said Ivory Tower MD Ahmed Boukhelifa.

"By joining Ubisoft, the team at Ivory Tower will continue to benefit from Ubisoft's infrastructure, support, tools, technology and vision. In return, we will contribute our own expertise to the broader Ubisoft story."

Ivory Tower was founded in 2007 by Boukhefila, Stephane Beley and Emmanuel Oualid and has around 100 members of staff. The Crew was released in December 2014.
