James Woodrow was also named "Mentor of the Universe"

UK trade association Ukie has named its Student Game Jam winner and its "Mentor of the Universe" for 2015.

Aldo Curtis, Sam Hayhurst, Richard Fox, Sokol Murturi and Andrea Castegnaro won for their game Code Name Spy. The jam took place May 11-12 and saw 14 teams from Ukie's student membership compete over 36 hours.

"The standard of games that the Ukie students managed to make in such a short period of time was amazing," Ukie CEO Dr Jo Twist.

"The jam offers invaluable experience to games industry stars of tomorrow and gives them a chance to get quality one-to-one time with key industry people. All the entrants have really done themselves proud."

James Woodrow was also named "Mentor of the Universe" at the event for his work with the teams. Woodrow is CEO of Cambridge development studio Utopian World of Sandwiches which is currently working on Chompy Chomp Chomp.
