Com2uS opens new office in Taiwan

Mobile publisher aims to create better foundation for Chinese-speaking markets

Com2uS announced the opening of a new office in Taiwan today. The mobile publisher, known for successful titles like Summoners War and Ace Fishing, said it "intends to create a stronger foundation for Chinese-speaking countries, as well as a new hub for continued support to Southeast Asian countries, such as Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia."

The company pointed out that mobile game users in Taiwan increased by 20 percent in 2014 compared to 2013, so it's clearly a growth opportunity. Com2uS also noted that it plans to further analyze market and user trends in Taiwan to better understand the audience, and the company is planning on launching a "massive campaign to raise brand awareness" across Asia. Com2uS is planning to launch several new titles in the "coming months" as well.

Com2uS has good momentum heading into 2015, as the company just reported record results in its fiscal third quarter with over $40 million in profit.
