Valve grows support for iD Tech camps

"The support Valve has provided over the years is a tremendous value"

iD Tech, a company that provides technology summer camps for children and teenagers, will get a boost in support from the might Valve.

Valve has been partnered with the program for nine years already but will grow this support with Steam accounts, Valve games, and the Source SDK for students iD Tech.

"The purpose of our program is to help students prepare for a career in one of the largest growing fields in the world," said Pete Ingram-Cauchi, CEO at iD Tech.

"The support Valve has provided over the years is a tremendous value to the program and our students."

36,000 students attended the 2013 camp and since its first event 16 years ago 200,000 young people have grown their knowledge of STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering, and math) with iD Tech.
