Nintendo wins Japanese charts

Holiday season sees Wii, DS and 3DS titles fill software top ten

A holiday week meant boosts for the majority of the Japanese hardware charts, with the Nintendo 3DS staying on top.

The PlayStation Vita managed to sell 11,298 units compared to last week's 9446.

  4. PSP - 13,285 (12,018)
  5. Vita - 11,298 (9446)
  6. DS - 2256 (952)

  8. Xbox 360 - 978 (998)

The charts from Media-Create (via NeoGAF) for the week ending 19 August also saw software sales entirely dominated by Nintendo, with games for its various consoles filling the entire top ten.
